It might be worth a note on the blog and out to folks that the ski trails have deteriorated so that grooming is no longer possible. You can still ski, and the tracks set by Tom are still there, but the tracks are collapsing underfoot. For the committed, there are several spots of large ice under trees and some wet areas along the trail, but you can still ski up to the west end of the trail. I don’t know about up to the Bucky Cabin, but Mary, Gerald, and Osa went on Wednesday and they had to hike rather than ski, due to frozen conditions. With the warmer weather, that trail might be OK in the afternoons.
Its been a good long season, compared to recent years…..still skiing on March 10.
Thank-you all for your support of the Nordic area this season , hope you have a good spring , Summer , Fall.
